Un Lunedì pomeriggio diverso dal solito su i campi della Capitolina, il giorno 30 Novembre dalle ore 14,00 grazie alla presenza di una squadra Sud Africana in tournè in Italia si svolgerà un triangolare seven con i cugini della Primavera e i Sud Africani Afrikaner Volkseie Sport. La manifestazione riguarderà ben tre categoria U15 , U16, U18.
AVS Foundation
1. The foundation of African Volkseie Sport is based on two fundamental principles:
The Christian Protestant faith based on the Bible and as stated in the three forms of unity. The living of the African culture, where our cultural view holds that culture acts that humans do in obedience to the Triune God’s cultural mandate to man.
2. Emanating from the fundamentals are the basis of the AVS:
We and our children are an integral part of the Afrikaner nation. We focus mostly on youth. First, because the youth the most visible segment of organized Afrikaner cultural and sports community. We see sport as a specific element of culture. Secondly, we accept as Christian peculiar organization seriously our children by the Triune God entrusted to us to bring up in his fears in the practice of culture. We would materially on all relevant areas of our culture in general and in particular promote the sport element thereof between people within our Christian faith and African cultural community. We want to create through African Folk own sports opportunities for peculiar cultural activities and sporting events.
Background
African Volkseie Sports arose in 1991 because parents, teachers and children realize that there are new circumstances and new demands, but they are still culturally remain connected to the Afrikaner people as distinct people entity with a strong urge to our language, traditions and emblem in honor hold. So AVS chose the Springbok in a laurel wreath as its emblem. So is the emblem to distinguish from other emblems that Springbok motif and registered as such with the Department of Heraldry.
AVS is not a political movement and is not linked to any political party. We want to emphasize that we do not want to fight or replace any other structures. Our goal is only to provide opportunities for our children and people who have the same cultural values as we want to maintain.
On the other hand, we are aware of several institutions dealing with sport as a tool, their own political goals try to achieve it.
It is our goal to give positive guidance and united collaboration among parents, teachers and children to promote in order to ensure sport culture level among Africans
